Province Apothecary – Toronto’s Favourite Holistic Skincare

If you’re a Canadian beauty enthusiast, and love supporting locally made brands, you’ll love this all natural skincare company from Toronto. Province Apothecary is a handcrafted small batch skincare company that resides in the heart of trendy Kensington Market. What I love about this brand is their simple packaging and reasonably priced well as their amazing skincare selection, which I’ll get to later..but first let’s learn a tidbit about the company.

About Province Apothecary

A brand created to inspire women to feel comfortable in their own skin, Julie Clark began crafting her very own natural and organic skincare because of her allergies and eczema. Residing in New York at the time and working as a costume designer stylist, Julie worked late nights creating her own skincare out of her kitchen in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. A passion for holistic skincare, Julie experimented with different oils, waxes and herbs – “all in pursuit of the perfect skincare regimen.”
Julie moved back to Toronto to study Holistic Health and esthetics. With that Julie formed the knowledge to begin creating products that would individually tailor to her clients. Her cute and homely studio also offers custom relaxing facials, that I’m going to indulge in very soon.

Julie’s devotion to fresh, wild-crafted, seasonal, and organic beauty will always continue. Now as a certified holistic aesthetician and aromatherapist, she remains committed to innovation, sustainability, and small-batch skin care of the highest quality.

Being a mask addict, I love to mask 1-2 times per week. I love using different treatments to target my concerns..and a big concern of mine is blackheads..yes those pesky suckers that never seem to disappear. What I loved about this detoxifying mask is that it really works! I will be honest I’m not crazy about the smell..I think it’s due to the ingredient of wildcrafted Algae. But..smelly stuff usually works the best, that’s my motto. No fragrance masking with this all natural treatment! Maple Syrup mineralizes the skin and neutralizes free radicals, leaving your skin healthy and glowing. How to use: Mix 2 teaspoons of this natural blend with water or honey, leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse with cloth.
